Magazine reality check
Ok so a blog is like, random thoughts...cool..right up my alley. I have quite a few but let me tell you real quick about my story. Back in the day, I used to read Mad Magazine....then floated on to Right On....those of you who know what Right On is.....holla!!!! Those who don't, well I am going to keep it moving. Headed toward my late teens...I started reading Vogue, Essence.....then Cosmo.....I realized Cosmo was my favorite....it had the latest and greatest of how to get your sexy on.....and believe you me.......I wanted to know about that! Fast forward to 21 years, 4 kids, and 100 lbs extra - I find myself picking up Womens World.....the onE that is a magazine/newspaper....and even worse.....the Enquirer.....don't judge. Now for a shocking admission....I find myself actually interested in the "Harriet Carter" periodicals.....(there is no other way to describe them trust me on this one....the word magazine doesn't quite do it when it comes to this publication)... For those of you who don't know what Harriet Carter is....Google it damnit...then when you do get it.....click on the health and beauty part.....then feel real sorry for me....I think the minimum age on this reading material is 55 if I am not mistaken. So instead of getting my sexy on with Cosmo...I am now getting my toe flex on (page 3 of Harrietcarter.com- health and beauty section).......oh and one more thing ......don't hate.
